4th Annual Spring M.A.F.F. is Saturday, April 14th
The 4th Annual Spring Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2012. The gate will open to the general public at 6 pm, the sun will set around 7:30 pm and soon after that we'll light up the night sky. Make plans to stop by and be sure to bring a lawn chair and might be nice to have a blanket. Oh and earplugs or muffs are always good to have on hand.
Location, location, location
No, you won't find the Festival's address anywhere on the website and while it was added to our Facebook page, recent changes to Facebook have made that effort futile. (The address we entered is right but, the map from Bing is wrong)
We like to be low-key, so we don't publish where we will be but, we do make sure to keep all our Friends informed though.
Our beginnings
The Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival (M.A.F.F.) started in 2008 with an idea. Someone told us we wouldn't be able to hold a club oriented fireworks display in Maryland. Well, we're here to tell you we've proved them wrong. It took a lot of time and effort on the part of a lot of folks to make it happen but, in April 2009 the first M.A.F.F. was held in Southern Maryland. Since then M.A.F.F. has been held biannually in April and November and now we're looking forward to our fourth year.
