After serious consideration, we've decided to no longer hold M.A.F.F. twice a year and will no longer hold an event in November. We know this will sadden some of our fans; however, this change will allow us to focus on a single larger event in April. M.A.F.F. has simply grown too large to be held twice a year - seems we're victims of our own success, and that's not such a bad thing.
The Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival (M.A.F.F.) started in 2008 with the simple idea of holding a large club operated fireworks event in Maryland. Many people told us we wouldn't be able to put on a hobbyist-oriented fireworks display. Well, we're here to tell you we've proved them wrong. It took a lot of time and effort on the part of several people to make it happen but, in April 2009 we held the first M.A.F.F. in Southern Maryland. Since then M.A.F.F. was held biannually in April and November through 2012 and beginning in 2013 annually in April.
